Vendeur: quintessence_productions_llc ✉️ (13.930) 100%, Lieu où se trouve: Ventura, California, US, Lieu de livraison: US et de nombreux autres pays, Numéro de l'objet: 256605381610 24-376 : Amazing Spider-Man # 97, 1971, VF- 7,5 ! Pas de timbre CCA !. (3b) This Series, ASM 96 - 98 did NOT have the CCA - Comics Code Authority Stamp of approval in the upper right front covers. The late, great Mr. Stan Lee insisted that these stories be told, and fought tooth and nail against the CCA Board. 24-376: AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 96 , 1971 !!! Grade: VF- 7.5!!! NOTES: 1) The shipping cost: Not all Comic Books or other items are Equal: Yes, $6.95 or up to $9.95 is a lot for most Sold Alone "One Comic". However, if you buy more than one, your ship costs go down and also each additional item is $1.00. If you get enough items we can easily upgrade to Priority and many of our Customers appreciate that! 2) "Frequently Asked Question" is: "Do you Combine Shipping?" YES WE ALWAYS do, whether you ask us to or not. As we Offer "Next Day Shipping" we do NOT have time/ability to "fix" more than ONE payment from any one Buyer per Auction Session. We'll contact you on a "case-by-case" basis to resolve any Combining Shipping Issues. We take care of our Buyers!!! 1B) Please take time to read "Fine Print". All other FAQ's are found there. 2) All defects ARE factored in the final Grade assigned. 2b) Do NOT open a Return with the : "You missed something...." ALL defects are factored in the final grade. I am going to fight you tooth and nail if you guys get Buyers' Remorse. We don't have the time nor inclination to spend five hours per listing. Stop being unreasonable. 3) Below-Average handled item.... 3b) This Series, ASM 96 - 98 did NOT have the CCA - Comics Code Authority Stamp of approval in the upper right front covers. The late, great Mr. Stan Lee insisted that these stories be told, and fought tooth and nail against the CCA Board. Thank you Stan Lee for having the huge ones to stand up to those who had no clue how story creators tried to warn our youth of that day those dangers of the topic therein. 3c) THIS Issue was the FIRST ever Marvel Comic Book to be refused the CCA Stamp of approval. That CANNON # 1 of 1968/9 of Wally Wood fame was NOT a Marvel Comic book. 4) Off-white-to-white pages, the 2nd Best Page Quality!!! 5) Art: the late, great Gil Kane !!! Box 28 This item is worth an additional FREE ONE (1) Comic Book(s). A. Decided on the BEST way to move the excess Comic Books: Some items will have FREE Comic Books. Each auction will be a case-by-case evaluation. B. We do sell CGC/CBCS/PGX on occasion. Those individual auctions will be NO RETURNS as they are graded by a 3rd party. C. The YGI: You Grade It auctions- those designated as "READER" copies there will not be any Returns whatsoever and I will fight tooth and nail with the Buyer's Remorse and eBay as these "READERS" are just that: READERS and have NO Collectible value. Been having problems more than they are worth and decided to retake my previous hardline stance against the Buyer's Remorse clowns. D. Comic Book Silver Age discussion: Silver Age (SA) (1956 to 1969). Much discussion and disagreement as the end of SA and beginning of BA. We have been consistent with our stance since I started collecting Comic Books as a 9-year-old-boy: some reference Issues that END the Silver Age (all Volume 1's): Amazing Spider-Man: 79 Fantastic Four: 93 Iron Man: 20 Sub-Mariner: 20 Incredible Hulk: 122 Silver Surfer: 11 Superman: 222 Any Issues with the Cover Date Jan. 1970 are BRONZE Age books. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE FINE PRINT: PREVIEW Section: Our Photos are BOTH covers, any Fold-inserts( rare, but some X-Men 1991, special issues and ASM 350-somethings have this), the staples, and a defect that SHOULD be photoed. Some of our auctions will have "added photos" of the center wrap, splash page( 1st page), writings, and/or other defects. 1) No Zero or Private Feedback bidders. Only USA & Territories/Federal. NO International. CA residents pay CA State Sales Tax: or eBay has Managed Tax collection system. 2) PayPal payment due two( 2) days after Auctions end. If you pay via eCheck, we will NOT ship item(s) until eCheck clears. Takes a MINIMUM ten( 10)+ Business Days to clear. 2b) SALES TAX: Ebay automatically charges, collects, and remits sales tax based on the laws of various states. Your purchase / invoice will automatically calculate and include that amount. It is your responsibility to understand if this applies to you. We have NO CONTROL over any aspect of this tax collection and will NOT answer any questions regarding this matter. Call eBay and ask them for yourself. 3) No carry-overs for next batch of Auctions unless we grant a carry-over for a smaller win. Auctions are bi-weekly. 4) There are NO PARTIAL REFUNDS under ANY and ALL reasons, including damaged shipping, slow USPS & other USPS mishaps out of our control. NO EXCEPTIONS. SHIPPING INFORMATION/COSTS are NON-NEGOTIABLE. SHIPPING INFO U need to know: 5) Wait until you receive your Final Invoice to pay! We do NOT refund extra ship fees paid without said Final Invoice sent; 6) We ship ONE ( 1) BUSINESS DAY AFTER payment. eBay/USPS automatically sends emails to ALL Customers w/TRACKING NUMBERS once the shipping labels are printed. You WILL be able to see the auto-eMails in your eBay Messages box. We are NOT responsible if you "lose/can't find/too lazy to look" for those auto-sent eMails. NO LOCAL PICK-UPS please don't ask! 7) We ALWAYS combine shipping: WAIT FOR YOUR INVOICE! Add $1.00 per additional item. Ship costs capped at $22.00 w/ Insurance; over 20 Auctions is FREE SHIP/INSURANCE! Ship costs have INSURANCE factored in; some items are anticipated in a higher Final Value/ Sales Price. 8) Basic ship pricing is predicated on eBayers buying more than one item. If you only win one item, and item is LESS THAN the ship cost, we PROMISE to add a FREEBIE, make this worth your while. The INSURANCE costs more than the USPS shipping. We will NOT waive/reimburse Insurance costs. Tip: MOST eBayers refuse to Insure items, and some eBayers ask YOU, the Buyer, to pony up extra money for Insurance at your request. Not us. We DO Insure 99% of the items and Insurance costs are factored in the ship quote. 8A) We ship ECONOMY MAIL. If we do get enough money via Combined ship funds we HAVE whenever possible move the Service up to Priority or whatever. Our model is based on Buyers buying more than ONE item. We RARELY if ever pocket 50 cents per package. We LOSE on the ship costs most of the time. Why? Because the INSURANCE costs are as much as the USPS rates for First Class mailings( 16 ounce or less). And the rates are going up dramatically again in early 2021. The State of CA CHARGES Sellers for ship costs! That started in 2018. Go yell at the State of CA about that! Do NOT pester me anymore about the shipping. 8B) We ship in sturdy cardboard backing boards to sandwich your Comics. High grade items will be mailed in Gemini Comic Mailers, the Best designed device to ship condition-sensitive and fragile Comic Books. We do NOT use scotch tape on the actual Comic Book bag - ever. You may not think so at this time, but the NO TAPE prevents a lot of accidental "Tape Pulls" which is the 2nd worse thing to ever happen to a Comic Book. The worst thing is allowing Comics to get water stains by carelessness. 9) Grading disagreement is NOT enough for "not as described". We do not list EVERY defect, and that expectation is unreasonable on such a bidder's part. READER copies not included in this detail. See below. 10) If you pester me with: "items are overgraded .5 to 1.0, 1.5, etc.", that is NOT enough to trigger your "Not as described".... PICTURES TELL THE STORY!!! LOOK at the PICTURES!!! Grading is a combination of science and experience. 11) Low-to-READER copies are not going to be checked for ANY DEFECTS/RESTO! We DO use Stock Photos from time to time. You will get what is ADVERTISED. 12) If you DO decide to send "raw", ungraded items to a 3rd party grader, the presumption is that YOU agree with OUR grade. While being responsible for our products, made in good faith, our responsibility is not a cure-all in condition-sensitive items. It is really irritating when a Buyer describes a transaction that a VF 8.0 s/he felt was a FN+ 6.5 but sends the item to CBCS/PGX/CGC and s/he receives a FN/VFN 7.0. Then wants the money back. This happened once( 2018) and I still see the Thread discussed on a Comic Book's Forum. That Buyer won't admit the TRUTH: item was damaged in mail; s/he refused an Insurance return, and tried to capitalize on the Captain Marvel Movie. 13) Comic Book info: We do NOT deduct grading points or percentages of grading points for the following:A) incidental minor tears of interior pages UNLESS they affect the story panels; B) "Bindery creases" caused by the pulp-paper rolling processing, C) manufactured with ONE staple, D) excess printer's ink or minor spotting of inks, E) date stamps of any kind which may be ink pen, crayon, grease pencils, markers, felt pens or rubber stamped, F) professional pressing, G) Miscut printings of Covers and Interior pages. 13b) Also, you may think that you can "underestimate me" and you do so at your own risk. I can tell if a copy is being "switched out" during the eBay "forced returns", and can hold a Comic Book in the air and can "weigh" by feel if it is light( missing a page or two). I can almost always "eyeball" color touch, especially black/blue(cyan), can see staple replacement(s), cover trimmings, and "married covers/wraps". The Forums will say how "dumb/whatever" I am re: Comics. I did not counter much: I don't care what they think on those Forums as they don't buy from me, but do care about eBay. We keep our photos for a full year now because of a discrepancy of two Silver Surfer CGC submissions in 2019. That Buyer's photos did NOT match up with what we sold him. This went back-and-forth for a few weeks and the time for Feedbacks went past 60 days. I was going to settle with him BUT I used an online service to "retrieve" the photos from the damaged memory card and sent him the photos. Maybe he sent the wrong copies to CGC? You see what I just did there? I gave him his "out" or "saving face". By not accusing him of trying to switch copies on me he lowered his "temperature" against me. He stopped contacting when we forwarded him PRINTED copies( way in advance) of the auctions and our photos. Yes this costs me to do these extra steps, BUT those two transactions above could have cost me $1,300 as they were NM- 9.2 grades!!! Sometimes there is a slow backlog of 3rd party grader submissions, especially CGC/CBCS, not so much for PGX. Just another HUGE reason I stopped playing that Encapsulation game. 14) The "Readers": may or may not have any of the following defects: Popped covers/staples, color touch/resto, glue on covers OR interior pages, coupons cut, pages missing, rusted staples, been pressed, and even TRIMMED. The "You Grade "It/'Em" are just that: READERS. If you get that "Buyers' Remorse" that gets you kicked right off Amazon, don't try that here. Yes, "subscription copies" are deemed READERS even if they have a minimal grade assigned. Subscription copies should NOT be compared to better preserved items. ERRORS AND OMISSIONS Disclaimer: Anything not covered in this "Fine Print" will be determined on a case-by-case basis, and we have the Final Say to all matters. We are NOT responsible for decisions by eBay regarding our auctions, technical failures of any kind including the "ghosting" of items, shutdowns, at any time for any reason. Unlike the "hobbyists" out there, this eBay business IS MY MAIN JOB and have to file Tax Returns both FED and CA State. So if I seem a tad rigid and slightly inflexible, it is because I cannot afford to keep getting ripped off. Please understand and respect my business. In return you may get EXTRA/FREE/Promo/BONUS books the next two years as we transition our entire eBay business to something to see around 2025.... I did not get over 12,000 Feedbacks by being stupid or cheat people. Use your common sense....it was HARD WORK. I also have an eBay YouTube Channel that I will start to work at. 15) If your 5 year-old-kid snuck on your desktop and bid the items, or your Phone did it on its own( a unique one that was the 1st time ever-used "excuse" for a high priced IMSM), then return item(s) we WILL slam a 35% restock Fee on you. No dialogue. 20% PERCENT RESTOCK FEES 15b) If I have to put you on the Blocked Bidder List, don't ask to be removed from that List. Just does NOT work out. You put yourself there for various reasons. 15c) Having said the above, if I DO make a rare Error, I WILL make things right, 100%. Yes, I HAVE shipped the wrong issues to Buyers by mistake, forgot to send a 2nd item won, etc. If you think of the mistake, I have probably made it or have had it happen to me or someone I deal with. And I HAVE corrected those mistakes and when I make them; I make sure those Buyers put that voodoo doll made in my likeness down as I will send them EXTRA/FREE items to more than make up for any mishap I caused. Most of those Buyers return month after month. Why? Because I TOOK CARE OF THEM No Questions asked!!! Check my Feedbacks and you will find these rare transactions!!! Exception are those "Reader/low grade copies". A lady was upset with me because I missed a tiny piece of tape( or so she thought) .5" x 1/8" on a READER copy that she admitted was a G 2.0( I had this as a "You Grade It" - my new favorite grading assignment!!!) . So I sent her a EXTRA/FREE copy and then put her on the Blocked Bidder list. I also check most Buyers's Feedbacks and if I see "trouble warning signs" I will put you on that Blocked Bidder List no questions asked. I don't suffer fools well at all. SHIPPING METHOD: 16) If you REALLY insist on Next Business Day DELIVERY( not shipping) for a $5.00 REPRINT comic, the flat fee is $110.00 and I will Fed Ex it Next Day Delivery. Yes, that happened in April 2016 over a REPRINT Comic Book! Insurance Claims for damaged and/or LOST item(s): b) notify us that the item was damaged and that you wish to return it back to us; b) The Insurer will email/call you( with proper link forms) to verify the said claim; c) you MUST MUST MUST send the original package, with the item( of course), and ensure against WATER/RAIN damage. d) The Insurer has implemented a new payout policy: a PERCENTAGE of what they believe the remaining copy(ies) are worth. e) The insurer pays US, we forward the funds to you. You AGREE the Insurance company Pays ME first, then I reimburse you. NOTE added February 13, 2022: The item # 16e above may be amended with the new Combined Ship policy previously mentioned. Stay Tuned.... FEEDBACK POLICY: 17) The BUYER decides when any transaction is completed, not the Seller. We post you your Positive Feedback AFTER you post for us first. Your Positive Feedback will be returned within 3 weeks. We ALWAYS return Positive Feedback, we are a cinch slam-dunk Seller who likes returning Positive Feedbacks. Sometimes we fall behind, but we rarely forget to return Feedbacks. 18. Shipping will start out Economy but will be upgraded to PRIORITY once the threshold is hit with enough shipping paid. Priority starts at $7.25. USPS changed their INSURANCE coverages; no longer first $100 value is FREE Insurance, but now only $50.00 is covered for free. Your shipping will be capped at $18.00 just in case we have to send TWO or even THREE separate packages. You win the auctions, pay within two days, we will take care of everything. Don't worry. 19. High Grade/High Valued items WILL be shipped in the GEMINI COMIC MAILERS. Even buying them in bulk Gemini Mailers are almost $2.00 each. 20. We are NOT responsible for USPS mishaps once items leave our hands. Holiday season has seen unreasonable slowdowns by the continuing downsizing USPS. We are NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SAID SLOWDOWNS: once packages are RECEIVED by USPS it is on THEM not us. MOST items ARE Insured. The Buyer is responsible to TRACK, then initiate any/all INSURANCE claims, not our responsibility. 21. The USPS Tracking may not show up until DELIVERY. Argue with USPS before you badger/pester me if I mailed your $10.00 item...seriously once the items are shipped, we have NO CONTROL! We NO LONGER respond to shipping questions until AFTER item is deemed LOST per USPS. YOU contact YOUR local USPS first. Don't ask me where YOUR item is at - contact the shipper. No exceptions. 22. All Comic Books are checked for RESTORATION and we have ALWAYS disclosed such in the event we do catch that. Also, we do NOT deduct any percentage points of a grade for "bindery creases" and other non-human handling defects that accumulate AFTER production. Those who buy off us year after year know that we are fair and consistent with our products... 23. We always try to contact the Buyers after a short amount of time if we do not hear anything back. Maybe item got damaged? Wrong item? Just plain not happy? We will ask for Feedbacks, and our Policy is to wait until the BUYER posts 5 Star Positive Feedback first. Why? The BUYER decides when any transaction is completed, not the Seller. If the BUYER is happy s/he should post said Feedback, which helps everybody. That also lets us know the item(s) arrived and YOU are satisfied with Transactions!!! We need to use Stock Photos on occasion. Those Auctions will state this very important information.

  • Condition: All condition sensitive items are graded by us, every defect is factored in the final grade. 3rd party graded items stand as is. We are also not glued to the desktop or our cell phones 24/7 like most people born after the 1980s. We will respond when we can. We cannot respond the final day of expiring auctions. All items are complete unless otherwise noted. Pages missing, coupons cut, color touch, trimmed covers, subscription copies, cover detachments, staple defects, interior page detachments and most other common defects WILL be shown in photos or description. We do NOT deduct for these manufacturing rarities: Bindery creases, crimped covers, interior page pull holes, MINOR excess printers' ink, personal stamps, etc. We do deduct for human handling/shipping defects. We do deduct percentage of a grade for EXCESSIVE printers' ink, and sight-detracting grocer/date stamp markings. We try to fit the general overall first-appearance of the item, including fading and tanned inside covers.
