Are Cards Against Humanity appropriate? ›

Cards Against Humanity takes it a step further, making almost every card sexual, crude, violent, morbid, or just generally inappropriate. To cut to the chase, this version is definitely not for kids — sometimes it's even too much for some adults.

According to the rule book provided with the game, the person who most recently defecated (a primitive form of randomization) begins as the "Card Czar" (or "Card Tsar") and plays a black card, face up. The Card Czar then reads the question or fill-in-the-blanks phrase on the black card out loud.

To add a Cardcast deck to a game, the game host must type /addcardcast 5CODE , where 5CODE is the 5 character code for the deck. A notice is broadcast to every player in the game. To remove a Cardcast deck from a game, the game host must type /removecardcast 5CODE .

To a game? Just type /addcardcast (deck code) in game chat.

Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition is a new party game that's just like Cards Against Humanity, except it's written for kids and adults to play together. Each round, one player asks a question from a black card, and everyone else answers with their funniest white card.

Although we thought Cards Against Humanity was released in the last few years, surprisingly, it turns out the first-ever edition came in 1923. Quick math, one year ago, in 2023, this first edition celebrated its 100th anniversary!

If you want a more defined end point, play until one player gets five points (or 7–10 for a longer game). Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins. One fun way to end the game is to use the "haiku" black card for the final round.

Simple and easy to play. Each player must pick 8 white cards and keep them hidden. The youngest player is nominated as the first Card Master and draws a blue card. The Card Master reads the question or fill-in-the-blank phrase on the Blue Card out loud.
