Absolutely worth the trip: the staff is very friendly, they make for an atmosphere of learning, and if you pay the extra visit you get a bit of history, a higher deck view and cellphone to hold for audio and view references in different languages.I wanted originally to go via stairs and then further up, but the stairs closed at 16:00. They offer you a photo and something to drink, which is a bit cumbersome among the small crowded place, but well intentioned.The views along explanations and general will and sentiment of the tower make the experience lovely in my opinion: many buildings were planned with the tower in mind, and the view is not as high as other observatories, but certainly clearer, which was a big advantage in my opinion.As I wanted to do the stairs I came back the next day, was disappointed I had to pay again the full ticket, and you only get a small card now right at the beginning.The open air is not fully open air, but understandable since there is no staff in between.I would’ve given a full 5 stars were it not for the fact that you have to pay the full price for stairs and especially if it’s not your first visit.Cafe staff much friendlier and I could keep the cup as mentioned on the menu. I would recommend more vegan choices and making it clear for those that left the cup in the tray.I would recommend the organizers to give a smaller price for stair choices. It will make people want to be healthy, and too tired to not buy drinks and food to replenish themselves after a sport act. It’s a win-win situation!

This tower has over 60 years of history and has appeared in many media.It's easily accessible via Tokyo Metro and a few minutes of walk after that.You can come here during day or night and it is still a great place for photo.You'll have to pay to go up the deck, but if you're content with taking pictures outside, it's still a good experience.There are several hidden spots to taking a good photo of the tower. One of it is near the slope to the tower, but you'll have to queue for about 15~30 mins to get to your turn.

I arrived around 9.30am and went straight up. The top deck is closed for refurbishment but the main deck gave plenty of good views. One of the best places you can visit in Tokyo. It is taller than the Eiffel tower, but weights less. It is hard to believe they built it by hand. There is a paying parking near by. It is even better if you can go during a day when they have Taiwanese festival behind the tower. Ki two birds with the same stone. Also, there is a possibility to take the stairs. You have the kiss can at the top when you get to the top.

We visited the Tokyo tower yesterday and it was amazing. The place is open for long so we went in around 9pm and avoided the rush. We only went to the main deck 150m above but you can also go into the upper deck 300m above the city. The views were fantastic and we were able to enjoy it better as the city lights come on fully in the night. The ticket were reasonable, we paid ¥1200 per person and the top deck costs ¥3000 per person. You can buy tickets at the venue without booking through 3rd parties.

The top deck ticket seems expensive but is quite a bit higher up than the main deck, although the main deck is very nice itself. It is a must see when visiting Tokyo, Japan. The tower gets light-up at night and it's am extremely beautiful sight to see. Anyone going to Japan must visit this tower. Many good food options inside along with many, many great shops and stalls to get good souvenirs at.

It's not the highest building in Tokyo, but it is the most iconic. And the views are great, with some of the cleanest, least reflective windows of them all. Wonderful experience too. It felt like being taken back fifty years with all the service staff. Seemed like there was a guide every few meters helping you to the top.

I haven't had the chance to go inside Tokyo Tower. But the view outside is already astonishing! This is one of the oldest tourist attraction in Tokyo. There is quite an average walk to Tokyo Tower but the hill view is definitely worth it! There is also a parking lot stairs near the side of it that is great for taking pictures! This area also glows really nice at night! If you are planning to enter the tower, I recommend buying tickets in advance if possible.

I recommend pre-booking tickets if you can.There are a few photo opportunity locations for those who want to admire but not go to the observation deck.

I came here in 2016 and had a fantastic time. From the observation level, you can see all the way around the city for miles. You do need to pay to get up there, but it's a small cost only about £8 (or about 1480 yen). When I was there, there was a big One Piece event going on, and the downstairs gift store had a lot of souvenirs you could buy. Up on the observation level, there was a lot of people there, and there was also live music being performed. I only managed to come here at night, but the view was spectacular either way, would have loved to see it in the daytime. There is a glass floor section where you can stand and see all the way to the bottom. Also has a food bar and give shop up there too.

Visiting the Tokyo Tower was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Tokyo. Go up and enjoy the view, try to go during the day then at night if possible. The first few floors has a food court that are easily accessible by stairs to the right upon entering.

A must go place in Tokyo! Awesome views of the Tokyo skyline and city. Also a historic landmark in Tokyo. Parking nearby available too. Not as busy as Tokyo Skytree which is nice. There is a lot of gift shops nearby with cool stuff. Some restaurants in the area too. Very cool place to visit. If it is your first time going I would go all the way to the top of the tower it is a very cool tour and great views you can get some really nice pictures of Tokyo.

On such a nice day, I had to get an aerial view of Tokyo. I went on a Sunday and while it was busy, it wasn't crowded busy. I queued for an adult ticket which cost me 1200 yen for an adult. You then are directed around to see some history and pictures of the tower before moving to the area for the elevator. There was an different line for those who paid 3000 yen for the upper deck tour. The elevator to the main deck was pretty fast so I didn't wait more than few minutes. Once up on the deck, I was able to move very freely around and take photos

I visited the Tokyo Tower In the morning and at night. I got to say going at night is a lot better then going in the morning. I took the top deck tour which includes main deck as well. Incredible 360 view from all decks. You will want to spend extra for the top deck tour! Tour includes a elevator stop at every deck and includes tea or lemon juice at one of the levels and throughout talks about the history of the tower. Such a great experience would recommend anyone visiting Tokyo! As I do not know the Japanese language they have an English version of the tour. It is cheaper if you get the tickets online only takes a minute at most. The top deck tour includes a free photo at the end which was a plus.

I visited the tower both during the day and during the night. Every moment had its beauty. For the more romantic, it's good to go see the sunset. It offers incredible views of the city especially in the evening with its magical lights and access is easy and service is quick.

Bought tickets for the very top. Bit of a queue to get in the lift and then head up. Views are nice and in general it's OK. I wasn't blown away by it in anyway. I liked the photos of then and now to see how this mega city has developed and watching planes come in to land. Apparently you can see Fuji from here but there was a haze so it wasn't possible on the day I went. It's not bad and it's a typical high up touristy area.

Tickets are 1200 yen for the 150 meter tall section and 2800 yen for the 250 meter tall section. I went for the 150 meter cheaper section and didn't feel like I was missing out by not going higher. The views are stunning and it is a very big observation deck so even when it's crowded there is still plenty of room to see the city.

Beatiful view of Tokyo from the Tokyo tower! However it is very crowded especially during the sunset so it was tough taking some pictures of the city with my wheelchair. Some people were kind enough to let me take some pictures of the sunset so I enjoyed it even though there were a lot of people. For wheelchair users, it is totally accessible. There are elevators to access every floor and the people working there were very kind and helpful so that's a good point.

I didn't actually go up the tower but I took plenty of pictures of it from the surrounding neighborhood. You can grab some amazing shots of it if you circle around it from a block or 2(or 3) away. It lights up at night so if you extra striking shors I recommend doing it around sundown. There are also plenty parks around the area that also have good views of the tower.

It’s great they do this.We saw the history of the tower and how it was built. When illuminated it looks spectacular. We spent a few hours here enjoying the view all over the city.

There are two areas in the Tokyo tower, one is Main deck floor 1&2 which allows you to buy ticket and visit anytime (no specific time slots). The next one is top deck tour area which needs to be booked in advance and need to specify time slot while booking. It usually gets filled so quick, so recommended to book top deck tour tickets in advance.

There are also offerings to be seen.Tokyo Tower is an obvious stop for any tourist discovering Japan. One of the highly recommended places to go to, I found this place just alright. It is especially beautiful when illuminated so I recommend going at night time.On the ground there is a museum of the tower as well as various shops and eateries that reach up to five floors, so visitors could spend a good chunk of time here if they want.The observation deck itself is divided into the main deck (150m) and top deck (250m). Wasn't really a fan of being crammed into an elevator with a lot of people, but the staff were nice enough and gave a decent monologue on the way up. We only went to the main deck as we felt that the top deck prices were not worth it and had very long wait times when we arrived there. As for the main deck, it was a bit claustrophobic since there were so much people in a relatively small space which hindered my viewing experience. At the times that I could get a peak through the window, I found it quite beautiful but a bit lacking. The space again was an issue and some of the lights inside the main deck reflected on the viewing windows, making the viewing experience a bit ugly.Perhaps the Top Deck would have been a better experience, just be prepared to spend more time and money if you're going to do so.

This is a fantastic tower to check out. There are great views of Mt Fuji on a clear day. There are two main observation decks to check out. Would recommend buying tickets in advance to the tea ceremony they have in the morning as it allows you to explore the tower with a small group of people and get to experience traditional Japanese tea up in the sky

Even during the day the contrast of this tower in between the modern high-rise buildings is something unique.There are some nice views from the main deck (150m), but I would say the Tokyo Skytree is a better choice if you want the best views of Tokyo.

The very loved, the most famous landmark in Tokyo.The tower itself is definitely gorgeous, the interior is also very modern regarding its age.The tower is full of tourists which made me pretty hard to navigate inside the tower.If you are planning to visit this tower because of its unique architectural design, then I would recommend visiting.But, If you are visiting this tower just because of its height, then I would have to tell you that other skyscrapers such as Roppongi Hills is a better option rather than visiting the top deck of this tower.

We visited here after going to the Sky Lobby, because of this I regretted only getting a ticket for the main deck because it was lower than the sky lobby viewing floor. So I'd recommend splashing out for the top deck tour so you can do both. We went on a Wednesday and it was really busy. There is a floor of souvenir shops and another souvenir shop on the main floor, unfortunately it's very very small and it was difficult to navigate through lots of tourists with back packs. You can buy postcards there, and a stamp so you can post them. There's a box around the corner on the same floor and it's said they will stamp the postcard with a special stamp of the tower. There's also a tower stamp machine for stamp collectors out there and a coin/medallion machine you can engrave with your name. You can also get drinks or an ice-cream which was really nice. We went at sunset so the view was extra pretty. There's also one of the coin crusher machines on the souvenir floor and you can get a coin to match the month you visited. It's a nice view and obviously worth the visit! Book ahead online so it's cheaper, too!

Awesome views of the city from an iconic location. It costs a certain amount to go to the middle platform, and then it costs a bit more to go to the top platform. I ended up only going to the middle but still had great views. They had music performances and events going on in the center that you could watch as well. Also a little cafe in there which is nice.

Inside it is, definitely much larger than you might think, and there is much to see. The view from the top deck is absolutely incredible. This tower is the equivalent Eiffel Tower of Japan. It's newer and taller. When you get to the top, you are able to witness the whole city at a glance. Even though this is not the tallest in town...We bought our tickets at the moment we arrived but it was late at night, around 9 pm. We had to wait for an exact time to start our visit. Spoiler alert: Be prepared for small elevators and bring your camera in order to take many pictures. Enjoy!

Visited the tower at around 7 pm and had spectacular views of Tokyo's night life. The tower was lit and there were many decorations around the observation deck. It was quite crowded but people made way for photo opportunities. Definitely a must-visit attraction in Tokyo!

Don't be afraid to explore around the Tokyo Tower area, as you might find a nice hidden view that captures it perfectly!Definitely one of my favorite places in all Japan!

Tokyo Tower provided a more enjoyable experience than I had anticipated. Initially, I thought it was just another tower in a major city, but the leisurely journey designed to slowly view the entire Tokyo cityscape was quite nice. You have the option to choose tickets for either the mid-level or the top-level, with a significant price difference between the two. If you assume that going to the mid-level is sufficient, you'll be missing out. The view from the top-level is markedly different from that at the mid-level. There is a café below the mid-level, where I highly recommend enjoying a cup of coffee. The prices were comparable to those on the street. It was also enjoyable to observe visitors from various countries. Finally, there is a temple a short distance from Tokyo Tower, and taking a photo of the tower from there is highly recommended.

One of the iconic skyline tours to do. Went at night, which is more impressive. Did the diamond tour which a private tour that jumps the queue to the top. Tour not really in English but they tried. You make your way down on your own. It was busy so the diamond tour helped with the queue and you get two photos included. Buy your ticket in advance as the ticket queue was long.

My experience at Tokyo Tower on October 13, 2023, was truly remarkable. The night view of the city from both the main deck and top deck was spectacular. The queue was relatively short, making the visit even more enjoyable. Opting for the combo ticket, which granted access to both decks, proved to be a great choice. The pricing was reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Additionally, the option to purchase photos as an add-on from both decks added a nice touch to the overall experience. Highly recommended!

This place is impressive from the ground up. According to locals, this is the second or third tallest building in all of Japan. The surrounding areas are beautiful as well. There’s food places on the ground level and all throughout the tower. If you’re in town this is a must visit, it offers stunning views of the city specially during the night time.

Great place to view a 360 degree view of Tokyo. You can choose from the main platform or go right to the Top view. The top view includes access to to the secret library where you can learn about the architect and why the tower was built. The elevators are pretty cramped in case you’re a little claustrophobic. Overall a great experience.

I’m in the area frequently so I pass by the tower all the time, but have only been inside twice. It is a lovely and impressive piece of architecture to look at, even if it seems shorter in person (though funnily enough taller than the even older Eiffel Tower).There’s often events that take place right outside in front of the tower and of course during the daytime you can expect an abundance of tourists. Both foreign and nationals from other areas of Japan.But where the true beauty of the tower shines is during the nighttime when there aren’t too many people around and the lights turn on to display a beautiful orange radiant glow.There’s also a tour that can take you to either the mid section or even further up to the very top of the tower (inside) depending on which ticket you get. I can’t remember the costs but I don’t think it was too expensive if at all. It was alright in my opinion, nothing too spectacular at the top. Though the history of the tower section was pretty cool with its visuals. I would only do it once.To visit is an absolutely must if you’re ever in Tokyo as it’s easily the most famous and recognizable landmark in all of Japan aside from Mount Fuji.

We went to visit Tokyo Tower at night and unfortunately the tickets for the top floor were sold out until about 3 hours later so we just went to the main floor, which was 1500 yen per adult.The staff were all really friendly and polite and signage was clear to help visitors get around.The tower itself was very crowded and pretty much each window had people already standing there taking pictures or looking out.There was a photo booth that took your pictures and gave you a little version of it for free, which was cute. They try to sell you the bigger one but you can just decline.Also, there are two main floors and the bottom one was actually much less crowded and also had a cafe that sold cremia soft serves, which are just simply divine!

Visiting Tokyo Tower was high on my list and didn't disappoint with the Top Deck Tour (¥3000 - Adult ticket).The queues were not too bad but lifts were VERY cramped. Staff do squeeze guests in like sardines. Good information and details were provided via the Audio Guides provided.Compared to the Tokyo SkyTree I would recommend to try that after this or instead of Tokyo Tower if you can only see and visit one due to the views and overall experience.

I had fun here inside Tokyo tower buying some souvenirs. There is also some food truck outside the Tokyo tower. The scenery from below is pretty and I bet the view from top will be even better. I would love to come back here next time and go to the observatory deck!

Manage to stumble across the viral staircase to take those neat Tokyo Tower photos. There were a few people in line waiting to do their photos so my group and I decided to wait too. We didn't come here to do those photos, it just sort of happened. The photos turned out great.While in the area, we went to the park nearby and took more photos. Amazing view of the tower from there as well.

Tokyo Tower is one of the iconic landmarks in Japan. It is especially beautiful at night with its changing colors. Additionally, it is surrounded by a lovely park and a famous temple. The tickets price are reasonable. Here, you can enjoy the view of the vibrant Tokyo city. There are shops on the lower floors and food restaurants. The staff of the towers were really helpful even though it was busy.

We visited the main deck. The view was magnificent. Could have been better if the day wasn't the cloudy, still enjoyed a lot. Had ice cream crapes near the tower. Ate green burgers over there. I wished I visited there at night.
